Project Summary

  • Why did they want the remodel (Client Vision) – Our client wanted to transform a cold, outdated bathroom into a warm, inviting retreat. The original layout, builder-grade fixtures, and uninspired shower didn’t reflect her style or provide the relaxation she envisioned. One of her top priorities was adding a luxurious tub, along with a cozier, more comfortable feel. We incorporated a heated floor system and modernized the design to create a space that’s both functional and serene year-round.
  • Design Challenges/Our solutions –  Because our client wanted to keep elements like the existing wall tile and cabinetry, we approached demolition with precision and care. Using specialized tools and protective methods, we removed only what was necessary to make room for the new heated floors, tub, and shower. The result is a seamless blend of old and new—crafted with meticulous attention to detail and respect for the original space.
  • Construction Challenges/Our Solutions – Tight working spaces and complex scheduling made this remodel a true test of coordination. With multiple trades involved and limited room to maneuver, protecting every surface and finish was just as important as keeping progress on track. Our team focused on communication and precision scheduling—staggering trade work to avoid overlap, maintaining clear timelines, and ensuring each crew knew exactly when and how their part fit in. On-site, we emphasized cleanliness and protection, keeping the workspace organized and safeguarding both existing finishes and new installations. Through proactive planning and teamwork, we turned potential logistical challenges into a smooth, efficient process—delivering exceptional quality without compromise.
  • What makes the project unique? – What makes this remodel stand out is how we completely reimagined the shower without starting from scratch. By making strategic framing adjustments, we created a Japanese-inspired wet room that seamlessly integrates the tub and shower into one unified, spa-like space. This approach blends creativity with respect for the original structure—transforming the bathroom into a modern yet timeless retreat. The result is a design that balances functionality, comfort, and beauty, perfectly capturing our client’s vision.
